It is a 3D design model of a luxury yacht which consists of several solid bodies and complex surfaces. This design is created using SOLIDWORKS software. All the dimensions given are taken from the original product. It is a cosmetic design.
Bevel Gear Assembly is analysed with ANSYS Workbench for FEA to obtain Grid Dependency. Considering the analysis point of view, we will work for 3 cases in this project, we will try to analyse three different sizes of mesh, 1) 5 mm, 2) 4 mm, 3) 3 mm. Gears are named as per their size Small Gear & Big Gear.
Ingot made up of Copper Alloy will be used in this analysis. There will be two rollers that are rotated in such a way that ingot passes through them and due to pressure it will deform in shape of a sheet. Two rollers will rotate in the opposite direction with one another. When this analysis will complete will evaluate certain parameters such as Total Deformation, Equivalent Elastic Strain and Equivalent Stress.
